What changed
The name. Oh Bombay Milton is now DesINorth Milton — a rebrand that reflects what the restaurant has become: a Indian and Hakka kitchen serving Milton, not just a Bombay-style curry house. The new name, website (desinorth.ca) and branding rolled out in September 2026.
What didn't change
Everything that matters. The address is still 1050 Main Street East, Milton, the phone is still 905-636-1211, the tandoor is the same tandoor, and the recipes — butter chicken, biryani, dal makhani, Hakka chilli chicken — are the same ones regulars have ordered for years. The food is halal, as before.
What about the reviews?
They carry over. The restaurant's Google listing — 4.7 stars from ~3,700 reviews — reflects the same kitchen at the same address, and that record belongs to DesINorth Milton now. If an old bookmark, map pin or directory still says "Oh Bombay Milton," it's pointing at us; listings are being updated across Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp and delivery apps.
What's new with the rebrand
A few things arrived with the new name: a $15 thali deal (butter chicken, kadhai paneer or dal makhani with basmati rice, naan and gulab jamun — $15 flat, dine-in), and an expanded Hakka menu. Read the Milton Indian restaurant guide for the full picture.
